I’m was once libertarian, currently Hobbesian about human nature, and think the AI super-intelligence is going to be worse. I don’t believe in souls and think carbohydrates make you fat.
The ideas I like exploring most are: how to survive the great filter; what kind of creature we want to be; and at what point should we scrap patchwork models of understanding and start over?
Nothing here will be AI written.
